Our estate plantings are distributed over a wide geographical area within four local village boundaries: Saint Etienne des Oullières, Saint Etienne la Varenne, Odenas and Salles-Arbuissonnas. This arrangement enable us to take advantage of the variety of local soil types, thus givingthe grapes grown in these soils a distinctive local character from each area. The careful blending of the different local batches is the key to producing the special character of our wines.

La Jonchère   Our main office is located here. Around the main house is 2.5 hectare ( six-acre) vineyard growing in rich red sandstone soil. These plots produce excellent wines of the BEAUJOLAIS VILLAGES NOUVEAUX et BEAUJOLAIS VILLAGES ROSE varieties.

Nervers  Located near the village of Odenas, where BROUILLY is produced. The average vine here is over 50 yars old. The local alluvial soil gives body to this type of Beaujolais.

La Varenne  These two fields are located in the village of Saint Etienne la Varenne.  They are separated by a local road. The Tours field produces Brouilly; the Jonchère side produces Beaujolais Villages.

Odenas  The alluvial soils of these two fields produce BROUILLY.

Nety - Les Terrains rouges  Open to the sun on east and south-facing slopes of clay and limestone, these fields of Beaujolais Villages produce fruity, full-bodied, well-rounded adn supple wines with silky and elegant tannins, wich are particularly well. They can be aged for three to five years. Exceptionally good years can age even longer. This wine has more of a Bourgogne or Burgundy character.

Nety - La Cadole  A "cadole" is a small stone storage building set in the middle of a vineyard. It served as a shelter during rain storms and for storing tools in the day when field workers used to come to the vineyard on bicycle or on foot. Many cadoles in the region have been abandoned or torn down.

Salles - La côte et La Margotière  These fields are the most distant and are located in the village of Salles-Arbuissonnas. They are south-facing hillside and sheltered from the north winds during our winter pruning work.
